Come and join Rhondda Cynon Taff & Pontypridd Fair Trade Groups as they host John Harrington. John has been working with Gumutindo, a Fair Trade Co-operative in Uganda, since 2008.
He has been providing organisational development advice, dealing with governance issues and supporting the staff team.
He will be talking about the Gumutindo’s work and the Welsh government’s role on the ground.

John Harrington’s Biography
John is a retired Father of five and is currently funded by the Wales for Africa scheme to provide organisational development work in Mbale, Uganda for Gumutindo and it’s eleven producer coops. He previously worked for the Development Board for Rural Wales as a smalll business adviser. Ten years before retirement,he worked for PAVO (Powys Association of Voluntary Organisations) as a development worker with a particular interest in social enterprise.John is also the Founder director of Cae Post recycling.
